Fill-In "Memes" Rant

Oh god...let's just get this over with.

Hello, my fellow readers, and welcome to my first ever rant. Today, I'm going to talk about something that has plagued the internet for YEARS now. You're familiar with DeviantArt, right? For those of you who don't know, it's an art site that has a mixed bag of users that are both good and bad. What I'm going to talk about today, however, isn't just bad. THEY'RE F***ING HORRIBLE!

The Main Attraction

Dosen't it kill you to just WRITE A JOURNAL ENTRY instead of making this shitty "meme"?
Yes, I'm going to talk about fill-in "memes". These things are the bane of my existence. The creators of these memes post these on DeviantArt thinking they're really funny, but really, they're garbage. What I think happened here is that these memes were originally supposed to be funny, but some braindead idiot thought it was a good idea to use their own opinions as memes, thus resulting in the terrible, awful, no-good very bad piles of steaming goatshit that we all know and loathe today.

Oh, god... this is the part where these things get REALLY awful. Let me introduce you to those fill-in memes using screenshots from a certain TV show. You wanna know what that show is? You really wanna know? Alright, that TV show is...

The.
Loud.
House.
WHY??
These have got to be the worst "memes" I have ever seen, but they are GOD compared to what i'm going to talk about next.

In fact, during my research, I've actually found variations of these memes that have characters reacting to the September 11th attacks.
This is an actual image. I added in an angry Flareon just to represent how much I hate these kinds of images. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a bit hypocritical on this part, but I just HAD to make this image.

WHY? WHO THE HELL THOUGHT THAT THESE KINDS OF IMAGES WERE GOOD IDEAS, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY,
I'm sorry. I've ran out of words already. These memes are horrible, and I rate these miserable abominations a 0/10. End of story.

Family Movie Collaboration Review

Hello, fellow readers! Today, I have yet another review to share, which is on a little-known webseries called "Family Movie Collaboration", which was created by AckleyAttack4427 (now known as AckleyAttack TV).

This is the show's logo. It's pretty nice, actually!

The series stars Ben Ackley as he reviews movies both current and nostalgic, but (in his own words), not TOO nostalgic. Accompanying him are a Fluttershy plushie (ironically named "Fluttershy Plushy), and a Dedenne named Rob (who can talk, unlike most Pokémon, but this is the internet, so anything can happen). Most people have pointed out that this is a Nostalgia Critic ripoff, but regardless, this show is pretty good. Starting from episode 7, he started doing collabs with some other YouTubers (e.g. SamTheThomasFan1, TrainBoy54, his girlfriend, etc.), and, I gotta be honest: These collabs are amazing.

Unfortunately, this series has one major issue. For instance, the first ten episodes of the show (and to an even lesser extent, some of Season 2) are littered with bad grammar (e.g. BUT THIS? This is the movie you could ever come up with? This is the movie you could do?), but I'll forgive him, as the series was still in its infancy at the time of their creation.

AckleyAttack TV, if you're reading this, I'll give you two pieces of advice on how to make this series better.

1. Write some scripts for the episodes and proofread them. This can help prevent issues such as stuttering.

2. Make episodes featuring movies that are more well-known (e.g. Matilda, The Emperor's New Groove, the first two Home Alone movies, etc.) - A strategy like this can actually bring in higher ratings!

Aside from all of that, this series is pretty good, so I'll give it a solid 8.5/10.

Yo! Noid Review

This is my first ever review! Anyways, this review is going to be about an NES game called "Yo, Noid!", which was released by Capcom back in 1990.

With a company like that, how could you mess this one up? They've came up with classics such as Mega Man, the Ducktales game, and that infamously hard Ghosts n' Goblins, so this one should be good, right? Well, it is.

The Game

This is the title screen. Pretty weird, huh?

At first glance, this game looks like a shovelware game made to promote a company. Well, it is a shovelware game. A pretty damn good shovelware game, I might add!

You play as the titular Noid, who used to be a mascot for Domino's back in the 80's. They later bought him back (to the delight of all of those annoying nostalgiatards) in 2021, but they stopped using him after that. In this game, he just throws around a yo-yo and also uses it to kill the enemies. Now, this game seems like a good game, but it suffers from one major flaw....

...the difficulty.

If the Noid comes into contact with basically anything, he'll die in one hit. You only start with 3 lives, by the way, which means if you lose all of your lives, you get a game over. Sure, you'll have continues, but you only have 3 of them!

Aside from all of that, the game's pretty good. However, this game isn't even an original creation, as it was originally released as a completely different (and extremely obscure) game titled "Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru", but according to Wikipedia, the game's textures, sprites, and music were all changed to be more American-like (why didn't they add in a health bar for that matter?).
Does anything here look familiar to you?

I rate this game a 9.5/10. On the other hand, I'll rate that Hanamaru Ninja game a 8/10.
